Skill IT for Youth team meets in Romania, to further develop the educational resources for digital youth work

Skill IT for Youth partners met in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, between 12-13 September 2018, for a project meeting organized for further planning and development of the open educational resources for more and better youth digital work. 

The project Romanian partner, Fundatia Danis hosted participants representing partner organizations Youth Work Ireland, Camara Education (Ireland), Norsensus Mediaforum (Norway) and Fundacja Robinson Crusoe (Poland).

During the project meeting, the partners revised the progress made so far with the ongoing intellectual outputs work, more precisely the Skill IT for Youth Research on young people digital skills and youth work, the Competence Framework for Digital Youth Work Practice, the Training Toolkit for Digital Skills Enhancements Workshops – all aimed to increase youth organizations’ capacity to deliver more innovative services to young people, while enhancing their digital and future skills. The partners also discussed and planned the development of the strategic guide for senior managers & leaders to embed digital technology into their youth organisations. Finally, a brainstorming session to collect ideas for the development of the Skill IT for Youth platform was organized.

At the end of the meeting, the partners discussed the next steps to take for each of the educational resources they work on, and established concrete tasks and deadlines.
